Founded in 2011, the United Premier Soccer League now stands as the largest and most competitive semi-pro soccer league in the United States of America. The UPSL has over 600 teams in the Premier, Division 1, Women and Academy divisions.
The UPSL Georgia Conference featured it’s 2nd ever Women’s Community Cup match as a curtain raiser for the inaugural woman’s season to follow later this summer. Forest Rovers FC Woman faced defending Cup winner’s North Georgia United FC.
This match did not disappoint! Switching momentum throughout the match culminated in spot kicks to decide the winner after the game ended level after regulation time. Finally, it was Forest Rovers FC Women to edge out North Georgia United FC Women to claim the Cup prize.
